The Cottage is a family run Lake District Guest House in Windermere, built in 1847 in the local manner of Lakeland Stone walls with rendered elevations. The Guest House is a two minute walk from the mainline train and bus stations and close to all of Windermeres local amenities.
Windermere village has a number of excellent bars, cafes and restaurants serving meals at both lunchtime and evenings and caters for all tastes (including English, Chinese and Indian).
The world famous Lake Windermere and the shores of Bowness bay are only a leisurely twenty minute stroll. Our off street car park offers ample parking for all our guests.
